Shipping policy

WA Split Systems delivers air conditioning systems and related products within Western Australia and interstate, subject to product availability, freight carrier availability and delivery access.

1. Shipping Rates

Standard shipping rates for eligible orders are:

Western Australia (WA) $99.00 flat rate
Interstate Australia $249.99 flat rate

All shipping prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise.

2. Additional Freight Charges

Due to the size, weight and destination of air conditioning systems, additional freight charges may apply in some circumstances, including:

  • Regional or remote delivery locations.
  • Difficult-access locations or limited freight routes.
  • Multiple systems or unusually large orders.
  • Special handling or tailgate delivery requirements.
  • Freight carrier surcharges or delivery restrictions.

Where additional freight charges apply, WA Split Systems will contact you before dispatch to advise the additional cost.

Your order will not be dispatched until you have accepted and paid any additional freight charge, where applicable. Where you do not wish to proceed because of an additional freight charge, you may cancel the affected order before dispatch and receive a refund of amounts paid for the cancelled items.

3. Delivery Areas

WA Split Systems delivers to eligible residential and commercial addresses throughout Australia, subject to carrier coverage and access requirements.

Some locations may not be serviceable by our usual freight providers. Where we cannot arrange delivery to your nominated address, we will contact you before dispatch to discuss available options or arrange a refund for the affected order.

4. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery timeframes may be provided at checkout, in your order confirmation or after your order has been processed.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on:

  • Product availability.
  • Destination and freight carrier service levels.
  • Regional or remote delivery requirements.
  • Public holidays, severe weather, road closures or other events outside our reasonable control.

We will take reasonable steps to dispatch and deliver orders within any advised timeframe. If we become aware of a significant delay, we will contact you using the details provided with your order.

5. Delivery Access and Unloading

Split-system air conditioning units are bulky and may include separate indoor and outdoor units. Customers must ensure that:

  • The delivery address is accurate and accessible to the freight carrier.
  • There is a suitable location available to receive the goods.
  • An authorised person is available to accept delivery where required.
  • Any special access or delivery requirements are disclosed before dispatch.

Additional charges may apply for unsuccessful delivery attempts, redelivery, re-direction, special access, tailgate unloading or other services requested or required due to delivery conditions.

6. Authority to Leave

Where authority to leave is requested or selected, the customer authorises the freight carrier to leave the goods at the nominated delivery address without obtaining a signature, where the carrier considers it safe to do so.

Customers should carefully consider whether authority to leave is appropriate for valuable and bulky air conditioning equipment.

7. Delivery Inspection and Transit Damage

Customers should inspect the goods and packaging at the time of delivery, or as soon as reasonably possible afterwards.

Where goods appear to have been damaged in transit, are incomplete or are not the products ordered, please contact WA Split Systems as soon as possible and provide:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase.
  • Details of the issue.
  • Photographs of the product, packaging and any visible damage.

Where WA Split Systems arranged delivery, we will assist with damaged, lost or incorrect deliveries in accordance with applicable law and our obligations as the seller.

8. Collection by Customer or Customer-Nominated Carrier

Where a customer arranges collection or nominates their own freight carrier, responsibility for transport passes to the customer once the goods have been collected from WA Split Systems, except to the extent otherwise required by law.

Customers are responsible for ensuring their nominated carrier is suitable for transporting air conditioning equipment safely.

9. Incorrect Delivery Information

Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery details provided at checkout are correct.

Where an order is delayed, returned, re-directed or requires redelivery because incorrect or incomplete delivery information was supplied, additional freight charges may apply. We will contact you before arranging any service that requires an additional payment.

10. Australian Consumer Law

This Shipping Policy does not exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Products purchased online are covered by the same consumer rights as products purchased in store. Goods must match their description and comply with applicable consumer guarantees.
